Hokkaido Access Network runs the Resort Liner coaches between New Chitose and the big ski towns, and Niseko Central resells its seats. For 2026/27 the airport runs operate daily from 1 December to 30 March. A seat to Niseko or Furano costs ¥6,000 and Rusutsu costs ¥5,500. Hirafu is about 2 hr 45 min away, and the first of seven daily departures leaves the domestic terminal at 10:00.
Each passenger gets one set of ski gear plus one other bag in the hold, so travel with the board bag and a single suitcase. The same network's Powder Belt Liner links Tomamu with Furano for ¥5,500 and with Asahikawa for ¥6,000. Tomamu routes only run when someone books at least nine days ahead. When the expressway shuts in a storm the coaches take the ordinary roads and arrive about 40 minutes late.
