Iwanai Resort sits on Mt. Iwanai at the western end of the Niseko range, and on a clear day the runs finish with the Sea of Japan in front of you. One pair lift serves three beginner runs. The rest of the mountain belongs to the cats, and the operation says guests average 5,000 vertical metres a day.
Pickup runs between 7:00 and 7:30 from Kutchan or the Niseko villages about 40 minutes away, and lunch is at the Three Birds restaurant. Powderhounds lists 2026/27 seats at ¥200,000 per person, up from ¥150,000 in 2024/25. A private cat for up to twelve costs ¥2,500,000 with Niseko transfers. Iwanai asks for advanced riders, and bookings go through the YukiKamui email address on the resort site.
