Rusutsu's school runs its lessons in Japanese, and the instructors are Japanese. A two-hour group snowboard class costs ¥9,000 and takes up to four riders. Older teens and adults can book a carving or grab-trick session at the same rate.
For experts the school sells Mountain Guiding. One instructor takes up to six skiers and boarders together for ¥67,000 over three hours or ¥97,500 for the 9:00–16:00 day. Helmets are compulsory, and the instructor can turn the session into a lesson if the group can't handle the terrain. Same-day booking works until 30 minutes before the start if a slot is free.
