If you knew it as Takimoto Inn, this is the same building. It was refitted throughout in summer 2024 and renamed adex inn. It's the best-value bed in Noboribetsu for anyone carrying gear. There are 47 Western rooms with simple twins of about 22 square metres, and a drying room and coin laundry deal with wet kit.
The house bath pours unfiltered sulphur water straight from the source. It's thick enough that yunohana (mineral flakes) settle on the bottom. Your stay also gets you into the Grand Bath at Dai-ichi Takimotokan for free from 04:00 to 01:00, and it's a short walk away. That entry costs day visitors ¥2,500, and it still works after you check out.
Breakfast is whatever you pick up at the adex Bakery & Cafe. The café takes cards and e-money and no cash. Next door, adex base is the only outdoor shop in the onsen town and runs guided trips.
