Akan Tsuruga Besso Hinanoza

Hinanoza is the Tsuruga group's top house at Akan. Every suite has an open-air onsen bath of its own, and some look across the lake while others face the village.
Drinks are included. That covers what you order at dinner, the Za Bar lounge, most of the minibar and the drinks set out by the footbath and the main baths. Two large baths sit alongside the tubs in the rooms, and an art gallery opens off the lobby.
The person making the booking has to be 18 or older. Akan is a long way from the big ski hills, so treat it as a rest stop on an eastern loop. Meakandake rises south-west of the lake and has been at alert level 2 since September 2025. That closes about 500 metres around its Ponmachineshiri crater to anyone thinking of touring.
