AYA Niseko

AYA opened in 2016 on the Ace Family run below the chairlift, and you ski from the door to the Ace Family Quad. Families and newer riders get a gentle run home to the building every afternoon. Hirafu's restaurants are a short walk away when you want dinner out.
Units start with 20-square-metre Atelier rooms and climb to penthouses of 373 square metres. The residences and penthouses have their own onsen. Everyone else shares the AYA Onsen. Its water is pumped from more than 700 metres underground into indoor and outdoor baths on the men's and women's sides, and the doors open from 6 to 9 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to midnight. Private family baths cost ¥3,000 an hour and you book them at reception on the day.
AYA Kitchen downstairs covers breakfast, and there's a ski valet with heated boot racks. Nomad Wellness runs a physio clinic in the building for the knees that need it after a week of tree runs.
