Bōrō Noguchi Noboribetsu

Bōrō Noguchi takes no children aged 12 or under, and every room is a suite of 50 to 100 square metres with its own view bath filled from the spring. It opened in 2006 and marked its 20th year in 2026.
The water is Noboribetsu's signature milky sulphur, and you smell it as soon as you step into the corridor. The GENSEN main bath adds a rotenburo and a dry sauna for when you want a change from your own tub.
Dinner is kaiseki with some Western touches, and it's served in private dining rooms. Some of them have sunken kotatsu seating. Check-in runs from 15:00 to 19:00, so time the drive, and Rusutsu is well over an hour away when you want to ride.
