Higashiyama Niseko Village, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Ritz-Carlton put one of its Reserve hotels at Niseko Village and kept it to 50 rooms and suites. Floor-to-ceiling windows face either Mount Yotei or Niseko Annupuri, and the Yotei side is worth the extra. The bathrooms are built around an oversized soaking tub in the spirit of a home onsen. If you're bringing family, the two-bedroom Higashiyama Suite gives each bedroom its own bathroom and walk-in closet.
Men and women bathe separately in indoor and outdoor baths that look over the gardens and the mountains. Both sides have saunas. You can also book a private onsen for the two of you after a long day on the Village side.
Yukibana serves breakfast at an extra charge and runs all-day dining under a view of Yotei. Sushi Nagi seats an omakase counter and closes on Wednesdays and Sundays, so book it before you fly. The Niseko Gondola is about 400 metres from the hotel, and the Niseko Village Kids Club takes children from 18 months to nine years old.
