Kasara suits a group of six who want their own front door at Niseko Village. There are eight townhouses at the base of Mount Niseko Annupuri. Every one spreads three bedrooms and three bathrooms over several floors.
The designers modelled them on the houses that craftsmen and merchants built near the end of the Edo period, so a tatami dining room sits next to a modern kitchen behind timber shutters. They are new builds, and each bedroom has its own designer bathroom.
The lifts are about a two-minute walk, and each house has heated ski storage and a garage. A concierge and an on-call driver cover Niseko Village, and a free shuttle runs to Hirafu and Kutchan when you want a night out. For a soak, guests can use the open-air onsen at the Green Leaf and the Hilton.
