Ki sits beside the King Gondola base in upper Hirafu, and the nearest lift is about ten metres from the door. GoSnow lessons meet next door, so ski school drop-off is a short walk in your boots. The World Ski Awards named Ki Japan's best boutique ski hotel in 2025.
The onsen runs from 4 to 10 a.m. and again from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m., so you can soak in the dark and still make first chair. Its water comes from the hotel's own spring source on Mount Niseko Annupuri. Each side has an indoor bath and a stone rotenburo outside, plus a Finnish sauna and a cold plunge. Hotel guests also get one free 40-minute session per stay in the Hinoki or Momiji private bath.
The 96 rooms run from 25-square-metre hotel rooms up through one- and two-bedroom condos with kitchens and washer-dryers to a five-bedroom penthouse. Pick a condo for a longer stay. Book An Dining for at least one night of its modern Japanese tasting menu built on Hokkaido produce.
