Lodge Moiwa 834

Moiwa's own lodge stands across from the base of the hill, and you sleep in capsules about 1.8 times the size of a city capsule hotel's. Each pod is 1.3 metres wide and 2.1 metres long with a coded safe and a light panel you can set to seven colours. From your capsule it's a short walk across to the first chair.
Families can take a room with a double bed and two upper capsules for the kids. Groups of four get a capsule room to themselves, and two of those connect through an inside door for parties of up to eight. The showers are private rooms stocked with shampoo and body wash. For a soak, Kanronomori and Yugokorotei sell day baths a few minutes down the road.
Raphael serves breakfast and dinner, and there's a bar for the evening. Ski lockers sit by the entrance, and parking for 250 cars is free. The 2026/27 season runs from 5 December to 31 March. Book through the lodge's own site or the big booking platforms.
