Muwa Niseko

Muwa stands in upper Hirafu about 200 metres from the King Gondola, and you can ski in and out of the building. The Michelin Guide gave it a Key in July 2024. The bars and restaurants of the upper village start at the front door.
There are 113 rooms over eight floors, and every one has a mountain view. Book a suite with an open-air rotenburo on the balcony if you can, and the penthouses look out at Mount Yotei. Guests share indoor hot spring baths with a sauna, and there's a private infinity onsen too.
Breakfast is a buffet on a terrace above the slopes. Two restaurants cover dinner. Valet parking costs ¥5,000 a night, and check-out comes early at 10:00.
