Rusutsu Lodges Pension Lilla Huset

Lilla Huset is Swedish for little house. This one belongs to the Rusutsu Lodges group and has ten rooms for about 30 guests across Route 230 from the Resort Hotel. It opens for the winter season only.
Ask for one of the few ensuite rooms if you want your own bathroom. A shared kitchen lets you cook dinner, and breakfast is a buffet you can add on. The convenience store across the road covers beer and snacks.
The resort is a three-minute walk, and the nearest lift is the Westin's Tower Pair up to East Mountain. For a soak, the Westin sells day entry to its hot spring for ¥1,500. The pension's website was down when we checked in October 2026, so call +81 136 46 3676 to book.
