Engaru Rock Valley sits a minute off the Engaru exit of the Asahikawa–Monbetsu Expressway. The second floor of the roadside station Michi-no-Eki Mori no Okhotsk opens straight onto the slope, so you can buy lunch and click in without crossing a car park. One pair lift built in 2019 climbs about 270 m in seven minutes. From the top the view runs over Engaru toward the Sea of Okhotsk.
The steepest pitch hits 33°, and the advanced runs carry names like Kokabe and Champion. One course stretches past a kilometre. Lights run from the summit for night sessions until 20:00, Wednesday to Saturday through February, and a day ticket costs ¥3,200. Anyone driving east from Asahikawa toward the Okhotsk coast can stop here for a few laps.
