Bowken is a small shop in central Sapporo with an ALEN cab-over and a Hiace, both 4WD with automatic gearboxes. It is one of the few companies that sets a winter season, running 20 December to 28 February at regular prices, so a February weekday costs the same ¥26,000 as May.
Both vans list an FF heater, and the ALEN sleeps four. Nothing on the site mentions studless tyres, so get that in writing when you book. The one-way list is useful if you want to finish in Asahikawa for ¥20,000.
