Shintoku-yama is the town hill above Shintoku, ten minutes on foot from the JR station where every limited express stops. One fixed-grip double chair climbs about 275 m, and three courses cover every level.
A day ticket costs ¥2,000. Nobody rents snowboards here, so carry your own board. The chair turns from 10:00 on weekdays and the season ends in early March. It makes a cheap half-day for anyone waiting on a train out of Shintoku.
