Which lift passes work at Hokkaido's ski resorts?
The Ikon Pass covers Niseko United and Furano, and Rusutsu takes the Epic Pass. Most other resorts sell their own tickets for less online than at the window.
By Adam BognarPublished
The Ikon Pass works at the four Niseko United resorts and at Furano, and Mountain Collective also covers Niseko United. Rusutsu is the only resort in our files on the Epic Pass. Everywhere else you buy the resort's own ticket or a regional pass, and most big resorts sell their day tickets for less online than at the window.
The prices below come from each resort's published ticket page, and we checked them in October 2026. Each one carries the season it belongs to, because several resorts have already posted 2026/27 prices.
Which passes work where?

| Mountain Collective | Niseko United | Two All Mountain days and 50% off extra days (2025/26 terms) |
| Epic Pass | Rusutsu | Five consecutive days, no blackouts (2025/26) |
| Indy Pass and Powder Alliance | Kiroro | Listed by Kiroro; check the pass for days |
| Hokkaido Powder Belt Pass | Tomamu, Furano, Kamui Ski Links | Five days for ¥40,000 (2026/27) |
| K-Winter Pass | Sapporo Teine, Rusutsu, Sahoro, Nakayama Pass | Kamori Kanko's shared season pass |

Niseko's regular season ran from 13 December to 22 March in 2025/26. Kiroro's figure loads onto a KIROCA card with a ¥500 refundable deposit, and Kokusai and Kamui charge the same ¥500 deposit for their IC cards.
What does the Ikon Pass get you in Hokkaido?
The full Ikon Pass gives seven days at Niseko United for 2026/27, and you can use them at Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village and Annupuri (Ikon at Niseko United). The Ikon Base Pass gets five days with holiday blackout dates, so check Ikon's Niseko page before you book around Christmas or a February weekend. Ikon holders can redeem at the Hanazono ticket counter.
Furano joined Ikon for 2025/26 and stays on the Japanese list for 2026/27 (Alterra release). Seven Niseko days at the 2025/26 All Mountain counter price come to ¥84,000 on our arithmetic (7 × ¥12,000), and you can weigh that against what your pass cost at home.
How does Mountain Collective work at Niseko?
Mountain Collective holders got two All Mountain days at Niseko United in 2025/26 with no blackouts, plus unlimited extra days at 50% off (Niseko United pass guide). Bring your pass confirmation and photo ID to a ticket counter at any of the four base areas. The same deal covers all four resorts, and Moiwa sits outside it.
Where does the Epic Pass work in Hokkaido?
Rusutsu takes the Epic Pass. In 2025/26 Epic, Epic Local and Epic Australia holders got five consecutive days with no blackouts (Rusutsu Epic page). Redeem at a ticket window, because the My Epic phone pass does not scan at Rusutsu's lifts.
Which Niseko ticket should you buy?
Buy the All Mountain pass if you plan to ride beyond Grand Hirafu and Hanazono. In the 2025/26 regular season it cost ¥1,000 more than the Grand Hirafu and Hanazono ticket, and it adds Niseko Village and Annupuri. Riders who stay on the west side can buy the Annupuri and Niseko Village ticket for ¥10,500 (2025/26). Hirafu sells no single-resort ticket, so the cheapest way onto its lifts is the Hirafu and Hanazono day at ¥11,000 at the counter and ¥10,400 online (2025/26 regular season).
Multi-day tickets save a little on the counter price. The 2025/26 All Mountain 3-day cost ¥35,000 against ¥36,000 for three counter days, and the 5-day cost ¥58,000. Hirafu and Hanazono sold a 3-day for ¥32,000. Three single All Mountain days bought online come to ¥34,200 on our arithmetic, so compare before you commit. Your Hirafu day ticket carries straight into the 16:00–19:00 night session, so skip the ¥6,000 night ticket (2025/26) (Grand Hirafu tickets). Moiwa needs its own ticket, and in 2025/26 its regular-season day cost more than the All Mountain pass (Moiwa lift pass).
What do the K-Winter and Powder Belt passes cover?
Kamori Kanko's K-Winter Pass is a season pass that covers Sapporo Teine, Rusutsu, Sahoro and Nakayama Pass (Sahoro K-Winter page). Our files don't hold its 2026/27 price.
The Hokkaido Powder Belt Pass suits a central Hokkaido trip. For 2026/27 it sells five days at Tomamu, Furano and Kamui Ski Links for ¥40,000 through WAmazing Snow, or ¥8,000 a day on our arithmetic. Sahoro isn't part of it. The Powder Belt Liner bus runs to Tomamu from Furano for ¥5,500 and from Asahikawa for ¥6,000 in 2026/27.
How much do you save buying online?
Rusutsu gives the biggest online discount in our files. Its 2025/26 adult day cost ¥12,000 online against ¥16,200 at the window, so buying online saved ¥4,200 (Rusutsu tickets). Sapporo Teine's 2026/27 web price runs ¥1,000 under the window. In 2025/26 Moiwa's web price sat about 10% below its counter, and Kokusai and Tomamu each knocked ¥300 off. Grand Hirafu took about 5% off online that season, and your first online purchase there carried a ¥500 IC card fee.
Kiroro's official webstore took up to 5% off daily passes in 2025/26, and tickets from unauthorised resellers are void (Kiroro lift prices). Furano's Seibu Prince Global Rewards membership took a regular-season day down to ¥6,600 in 2025/26. Some packages bundle the ticket in. Club Med's Kiroro and Sahoro stays include lift passes, and guests at Tomamu's own hotels saved ¥500 a ticket in 2025/26. To plan the days around your pass, open the trip planner.
