Annupuri sells the cheapest single-resort ticket in Niseko United and opens four gates into the Osawa valley above wide groomers that look across at Yotei.

Annupuri feels older than the rest of Niseko United. Its six-seat gondola went in during 1985 and the Jumbo quad in 1992, and the ski area itself first opened in 1972. An adult day here cost ¥7,000 at the counter in 2025/26. That was the lowest single-resort price in Niseko United.
The groomers are wide and steady. Utopia and Shirakaba roll down the middle of the hill toward a clear view of Yotei, and the lower runs spread out enough for a family to ride side by side. After a storm Champion under Jumbo #3 and #4 turns into an open powder field. Fukayuki-rinkan translates as deep-snow forest run, and it pitches to 34 degrees through the trees above the base.

Many locals ride Annupuri for its gates. G1 goes by the name L-ji and was the first gate Niseko ever installed. It sits just below the top of Jumbo #4, and G2 at the top of the same chair leads into the Osawa bowl and the natural half-pipe running down its middle. The Osawa runs come out at Annupuri, so you can climb back on the gondola and go again. When Jumbo #4 is closed G8 at the gondola top still gets you into lower Osawa through the trees, and G7 off the middle of the mountain is the gentle gate for a first look.
Night riding runs 16:30–19:30 on four lower runs, and Dynamic is the steepest of them at 33 degrees. Ikoino Yuyado Iroha and Niseko Northern Resort Annupuri both stand at the base with their own onsen, and a soak at either after the lights go off ends the day well.

Lengths, vertical, pitch and aspect are computed from OpenStreetMap run lines and 30 m elevation data. Steepest is the hardest 60 m pitch. Treat them as a guide and trust the signs on the hill.

Beyond the ropes · gates
Four gates lead out of Annupuri. G1 and G2 at the top of Jumbo #4 open into the Osawa valley and its natural half-pipe. G8 at the gondola top reaches lower Osawa through the trees when Jumbo #4 is shut, and G7 in the middle of the mountain gives intermediates their easiest look at Niseko sidecountry.
- Niseko Rules apply: gates only, helmet and transceiver required, no entry when gates are closed
- Yu-no-sawa, on the skier's left of G7, is permanently off limits
- The resort discourages the 30-minute-plus bootpack from G2 to the 1,308 m summit because the top is often icy
- Search and rescue is billed from ¥100,000
Check the daily avalanche report before you leave the resort. Carry a beacon, shovel and probe and know how to use them.
Worth knowing before you go
If you only plan to ride the west side, the Annupuri + Village ticket (¥10,500 in 2025/26) costs less than the All Mountain pass.
G8 at the top of the gondola stays useful on days when Jumbo #4 is closed.
Leave the G2 summit bootpack for firm spring days and a guide; it takes 30 minutes or more and the top is often icy.
The base has about 80 free parking spaces, so arrive early on a powder weekend.
Annupuri plans to replace its 1985 gondola before 2028/29, lifting uphill capacity from about 1,440 to about 2,800 riders an hour.
