A small hill on the Sapporo edge of Otaru keeps its quad running until 22:45 with Ishikari Bay and the city lights in front of you.

ONZE sits above Zenibako on the boundary between Otaru and Sapporo, and it stays open later than any other hill around the city. The quad turns until 22:45. From the top at 308 metres the lights of Sapporo and Ishikari Bay spread out below you while you ride. The hill opened in 1965 as the Haruka Doshin ski area. Its 1989 name is the French word for eleven.
Two chairs serve nine short courses. Downhill and Diving are the steep ones at 30 degrees, and Diving is left to grow moguls. It suits a late session after dinner more than a full day. A free shuttle introduced in 2025/26 runs from JR Zenibako Station and the Katsuraoka bus stop.

The 829-metre quad reaches the 308-metre top in about five minutes and runs until 22:45. Almost everything on the hill comes off it.

Worth knowing before you go
Come after 21:00 for the cheapest ticket of the night.
The free shuttle from JR Zenibako holds about 27 people, so arrive early on weekends.
Deer is the only course left dark at night.
Parking is free for about 700 cars, and Zenibako IC is ten minutes away.
